This is the Carline Liberty print Beadnell jacket from Barbour. If I had £219 to spend on a jacket, I would definitely buy it. Until then I will just have to dream about it, or win the lottery.

Tracey Emin @ The Hayward Gallery

I went to see the Tracey Emin exhibition at The Hayward Gallery today, and it was amazing. Seeing the vast array of her work, from drawings to videos to textile pieces, was really interesting and left me feeling very inspired.

A few weeks ago I entered a competition on DegreeArt.com for the Signature Art Awards 2011. Today I received an email to say they had got my submission and that the finalists would be announced on the 20th June. All the entries will be going up on the website on the 13th June and below you can see my piece in a sneak preview of what to expect!

There were 4 categories to choose from; Photography, Sculpture, Painting, and Mixed Media, of which there will be one winner from each. The winner then gets a years representation by DegreeArt.com.

Topshop Sizzle Shoes

I recently saw these shoes on Topshop's website and I love them! Pretty pricy at £68, but with 20% off for students at the moment I'm extremely tempted!

Photoshoot numero deux

For the Shapeshift project I also modelled some of my friends outfits for the photography of our exhibition. This was for the work of my fellow stitcher Kate lawson.

Alternative Fashion Show...1 year on

Last year we had a fashion based project which ended with a catwalk show of our garments at the Alternative Fashion Show at Spitalfields market.

I recently booked the photography studio at uni to finally take pictures of it for my portfolio.
